Lincoln County Historic Properties Commission

The Lincoln County Historic Properties Commission is charged with responsibility for protecting our cultural heritage. It does this by having some control over the actions of some designated and historically significant private and public properties.

The purpose of the Historic Properties Commission is to assist in the conservation of historic properties and promote the use and conservation of historic properties for the education, pleasure, and enrichment of the residents of Lincoln County and the state as a whole.

Meetings occur on the 3rd Thursday of each month and are hosted in the 3rd floor conference room at 115 West Main St.  Meetings start promptly at 4:00pm.

The Commission is a committee of the Lincoln County Planning Department and more info is available at this LINK.
