The City of Lincolnton Solid Waste Department announces a temporary adjustment to the trash collection schedule in observance of the Veterans Day holiday on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
All City administrative offices and departments will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th.
Solid Waste Collection Schedule Adjustment
The collection schedule will be as follows:
Monday – Regular schedule collection
Tuesday – No Collection
Wednesday – Tuesday’s route will be collected
Thursday – Wednesday and Thursday’s routes will be collected
Important Reminder
Residents and businesses who normally have collection on Tuesday should place their carts at the curb the night before the 12th. All subsequent collection days throughout the week are shifted one day later, concluding with Wednesday and Thursday’s routes being serviced on Thursday.
The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, November 17, 2025.
