Due to inclement weather and icy road conditions, the City of Lincolnton Public Works Department has revised the solid waste collection schedule for the week of January 26–30, 2026.
The adjusted schedule is as follows:
• Monday and Tuesday routes will be collected on Thursday, January 29.
• Wednesday and Thursday routes will be collected on Friday, January 30.
Our Public Works crews continue to work diligently to restore road conditions and to ensure that city property is safe for our citizens after this period of severe weather.
Residents are reminded to remain off the roads unless absolutely necessary and take precautions to stay warm during these frigid temperatures.
