The recreation staff may notice your child's ability level during evaluations/practice and suggest that the child be moved up. No child will be allowed to move down an age group unless approved by the recreation director.

Participants are drafted by coaches in "rounds" based on their evaluation. For example, in the first round of the draft all coaches will draft players with a grade of A. In the NFL FLAG Football league, participants will also go through an evaluation process. The league coordinator will pick teams based on the evaluation scores. For example, if there are 5 teams in a flag football league then the top five players will each go to a different team.
