  • Parking tickets may be paid at the Utility Billing office at City Hall, 114 West Sycamore between 8:30a-5:00p.

  • Motor vehicle crash reports can be obtained from the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles

    Crash reports can be requested by completing the Crash Report Request Form (TR-67A) and mailing it along with payment to the address on the form. 

    You may also go to the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles headquarters at 1100 New Bern Ave., Raleigh, NC 27697.  There is a fee of $5.50 for a certified copy of a crash report.

  • On the department’s page there is a link to forms for the Police Department. You can download the form for special check and either drop it by the police department or mail it in to:

  • If you reside within the city limits of Lincolnton, Yes. Fingerprints are usually done between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Monday through Friday except on holidays. If you have any questions about fingerprints, please contact Lieutenant Matt Painter at 704-736-8900.

  • No. Unless the dog is a registered, trained service animal it is not allowed during special events unless the dog is part of the event and listed on the special event application.
